Apple will offer free Watch repairs if software update doesn't fix charging woes
Apple has released a new watchOS update today that aims to avoid an issue that causes the Watch Series 5 and SE to stop charging. According to an Apple support document, a small number of customers have encountered a situation where the aforementioned watches refuse to charge after entering Power Reserve mode (otherwise known as a low-power mode). If it still won’t charge, then Apple recommends contacting Apple Support so that it can arrange a mail-in repair for you, absolutely free of charge.

TikTok and Universal Music Group today announced a “global alliance” that promises compensation for recording artists and songwriters when their songs are used on the short-form video platform. On top of that, TikTok users will also now be able to incorporate clips from UMG’s full catalog of music. The Solar Cell Remote Control can be powered by both indoor and outdoor light, or just regular USB if the former two are insufficient. According to Samsung, the remote itself is also pretty eco-friendly, as 24 percent of its 31 grams of plastic is made from “recycled polyethylene terephtalate.”
